The R. Family | Fall 2014

I always love seeing the R. Family.  They very graciously call me every fall for family portraits.  It's been really fun watching their family grow and change over the last four years.  Not only has their son grown from a toddler into a little boy, but he's also become a big brother to such a gorgeous sister!   Thanks for being such good clients & friends.  Hugs to you.

Baby Ella | Newborn Session

I recently took a break from my busy, fall season to photograph this little beauty.  Newborn babies always give me such a sense of calm... and photographing them always leaves me wanting to have another of my own!  What can I say, I'm just a baby person.  My hubby is rolling his eyes right now while reading this, I am sure.  Sorry honey! :)

Little Ella was already 4 weeks old for her big, newborn photo shoot.  Although she refused to fall asleep for us during the session, she had no trouble staring right into my camera lens, showing off those beautiful big eyes.  She really just wanted to snuggle up with her mommy and daddy while I was there.  So, that's exactly what we did!  It reminded me of rule #1 when photographing newborn babies: always remember who's running the show. (hint: it's not the photographer!)

The S. Family | Fall 2013

Here's another session from last fall.  I love looking back on these sessions... everything is so green!  These little ladies have been some of my most favorite clients over the past few years.  I started photographing them when the little one was just a newborn baby!  I'm always amazed by how much they grow and change between sessions.  What beautiful girls!

The M. Family | Fall 2013

Here are a few shots from my session with the M. Family last fall.  They have such a beautiful little girl, who not only has the coolest outfits, but a sweet personality to match.  This was our second session together and I have enjoyed watching her grow. :)

Baby Clara | Newborn Session

Friends of ours had their first baby last fall, little Baby Clara.  They were absolutely glowing when I arrived over their sweet little girl.  And let me tell you, she was a beautiful newborn baby.  Sweet little feet, teeny-tiny ears and a button nose.  They don't get much more perfect than this folks.

The R. Family TWINS! | Fall 2013

When the R. Family contacted me to do pictures, I was thrilled to hear that they had toddler twins.  How fun!  These two were absolutely adorable with their curly hair and sweet little personalities.  They graciously gave each other lots of hugs and kisses during the session, which nearly put me over the edge.  Too cute!!

We had a very fun morning together looking at ducks, discovering the drinking fountain and splashing in a little stream at the park.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

I have a ton of family sessions from last fall that I didn't post here, for fear of ruining someone's Christmas card.  So, I'll be posting snippets from those sessions to my blog in the coming weeks.

First up, the K. Family!  I always enjoy running around the park with these spirited kids.  They certainly keep me on my toes!  I don't know what it says about my mood today, but I'm only posting B&W images from this session.  I'm just really loving these as I look back.
