The S. Family | Portrait Session

I decided to blog a few of my older sessions on this cold, wet, autumn day.  I pulled these images out of my April archives... the flowers were just beautiful then.  This was my 3rd time shooting the S. Family, and as always, they were wonderful.  Enjoy!

The L. Family | Portrait Session

In the later months of my pregnancy, I was lucky to still be taking pictures, let alone trying to keep up with my blog.  So, I'm playing catch-up now and posting a few of my spring sessions here.  I figured, why not?

I've photographed the L. family a couple of times now.  They're super sweet and I think that shines through the photos.  Enjoy!

Baby John | Newborn Photos

My best friend from college and her family moved to Cincinnati last year.  It's been so great having her back in my life... or at least within driving distance!  She's really special to me and has been there through all of life's ups and downs.  So, it was an honor for me to give back and photograph her son just a few weeks after his birth.  

What a beautiful baby boy.  I'm excited to watch him grow!

My Beautiful Baby Girl | A Peek Inside

I'm baaaaack!  Did you miss me? :)  I don't really share much about my personal life on this blog, but I thought I'd give you a peek at where I've been lately.

You may or may not have noticed that I've been out of pocket for awhile... having a BABY!  That's right, our family's newest addition, Natalie Rose, was born on June 12th at 12:35pm.  She was just a little peanut when we met her, weighing in at 6lbs 15oz.  Her arrival has truly completed our family and I feel so incredibly blessed to now have 2 beautiful and healthy children!

The R. Family | Destin, Florida

We recently went on vacation with some of good friends to Destin, FL!  I hadn't been there since I was in high school!  It was a really fun trip, although the weather didn't exactly cooperate with our beach plans the second half of the week.  We made the most of it though!  Outlet shopping, here we come :)

I took some family pictures of them before the rain moved in.  Here are a few of my favorites!

Baby Carly | One-Year Session

Miss Carly was as happy-as-a-clam for our photo session.  She was pretty in pink for our shoot and smiled for me from start to finish.  Thanks for going easy on me, girl! :)  What a doll.

Her parents brought along some pink gerber daisies, which were such a great touch!  Flowers can make a great, inexpensive prop, especially for little-girl sessions.  Just a thought for anyone planning an upcoming session.

Baby Lily | 6 Month Session

Meet little Lily!  She's 6 months old and has the cutest, chubby little cheeks.  Don't you just want to squeeze them?  She smiled and smiled while I doted over her with my camera... which made me a happy photographer, too!  It seems that I'm on a streak lately with cheerful, smiley babies.  Or maybe I'm just looking extra goofy these days...?  :)
