The C. Family met me bright and early one morning in downtown Glendale for a family portrait session. If you're looking for a great alternative to your nearby park for pictures, I highly recommend downtown Glendale. Also, prospective clients take note! The C. family was styled really nicely with coordinating colors for this shoot.

The C. Family {Family Photographer, Cincinnati, OH}
It's always special when I get to photograph the same family year after year. Mrs. C was actually my very first client years ago - she hired me to photograph her two boys back then (#3 hadn't arrived yet!). She also helped to jumpstart my business that year by referring so many of her friends and family. Needless to say, I owe her a lot!

The K. Family - Candids at Home
My adventures with the K. family continued when I stopped by their home around lunchtime one Friday. I love the pictures that I captured of the kids... comfortable in their house, with their toys, just being themselves. Their mom loves black and white photography (and I do, too!) so I'm posting a few of my favorites from our impromptu session.
Me : "What's your silliest face?" Results below.
The kids insisted on this picture. Where did Ellie and Blake go?
And here is their baby sister, Josie. Just taking it all in - she'll be running around soon, too!
The Three Amigos.
Tickles for Josie!
Check out those big eyes!
They look very similar to her big brother's! I love this picture, by the way.
Dr. Ellie showed me her stethoscope, then used it on her #1 patient, mom.
Prognosis: healthy & having fun!
Thanks again for your hospitality! I had lots of fun :)
The K. Family Portrait Session
The K. Family just might be one of the sweetest families that I know. And lucky for me, this is the second time that I've gotten to photograph their growing family! Since seeing them last year, they have added a beautiful baby girl, Josie, to their family. It was fun to see how much their other two children had grown over the course of a year, too. I keep telling them that I need to take parenting lessons from them, as their kids are some of the nicest and most polite kids you'll ever meet. :) I think that shows through in the photographs below. Enjoy!
(Becky and I share a love for black & white photography, so I've included a lot below!)

Meet the K. Family!
This is their youngest daughter, Josie. I love this photo!
And these are their other two kiddos, Ellie and Blake. They are SO sweet with each other!
Blake has a cute personality - he loves to be SILLY!
A hug for mom.
...and a hug for each other.
Loren brought along his guitar. I may also need a guitar lesson on the day we do our parenting class :)
And last but not least, check out this chic little outfit! Adorable. :)
Thanks again to the K. Family for inviting me over to capture your beautiful family! It was a lot of fun. And thanks also to Becky's parents for allowing us to use their gorgeous backyard as a backdrop. Hope to see you all again, soon.
The Kirk Family
I met the Kirk Family at Sharon Woods several weeks ago where we threw around a football, played in the leaves and generally just enjoyed the beautiful fall weather. They are such a sweet family and I think it really shines through in the photographs. Here's a brief sample of some of the pictures I captured that day!
I'm starting off this post with my favorite picture from the day. Love this little guy!
The fam. :)
Who's ready for some football?
I love this time of year. Fall is in the air!
A little tickling always makes for some cute shots.
We've had such a dry summer that they were actually able to sit in this creek bed!
I absolutely love these next two. They were some of the very last pictures of the day.
Thanks so much for spending your afternoon with me. I had a lot of fun and I hope you did, too!
